EVA Emergency can be used with several sites and companies at the same time, facilitating a consistent emergency management framework.
With EVA Emergency all site occupants gain rapid access to the evacuation plan and emergency contacts from their mobile devices.
EVA Emergency allows emergency coordinators (Wardens) to raise the alarm and notify all site occupants of any incident requiring their attention. This incident can be an emergency or simply an urgent notification for the site occupants (e.g. safety meeting in 10 minutes).
The alarm can contain visual information on the incident and the actions to be performed by the site occupants such as assemble, keep off certain site areas or stay indoors.
Wardens can edit the alarm enabling a more dynamic response if required (e.g. a fire spreading towards the nominated assembly area.)
Due to the nature of mobile technology we recommend using EVA Emergency to complement other emergency systems. EVA Emergency is also great for evacuation drills; keeping your team trained is one of the best lines of defense in case of a real emergency!
Users Status and Location
Until the alarm is cleared, Wardens can monitor the users’ status (e.g. are they in distress? do they have a disability? have they acknowledged the alarm?) and their location. This allows them, for example, to monitor in real time the progress of an evacuation or to locate an injured person out in the field.
EVA Emergency also has the functionality to allow Wardens to place a voice call to any site occupant according to their location in the map.
To facilitate roll calls, users can also declare themselves assembled after reaching the nominated assembly area.
